Bring a Tent
You’ll need your own tent. If you don’t already have one, you can buy or rent one through the festival for a fee.
🏕️ Use our WhatsApp group to find someone to share with if you like.
✅ Pro tip: Book a spot in Volunteer Camping — it’s quieter, cleaner, and more relaxed
Pack for Every Weather Type
The festival is on open fields — so you’ll really feel the weather.
☀️ Hot days: It can get very hot in the sun. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and breathable clothing.
🌙 Cold nights: Temperatures drop fast after dark. Pack warm layers, a jacket, and extra socks.
🌧️ Rain & mud: A waterproof jacket and rubber boots are must-haves. The mud is almost a tradition.
Sleeping & Camping Comfort
Good sleep is essential. Don’t skip the basics:
A sturdy, weatherproof tent
Sleeping bag and sleeping pad
Earplugs and an eye mask
Flashlight or headlamp (+ extra batteries)
Power bank and charging cable
Optional: camping stove or cooking gear
FOOD: You’re Mostly on Your Own 🍽️
This is important:
You’ll get 1 food voucher per shift (you have 4 shifts total)
The festival runs for 8 days, so all other meals are your responsibility
There are tons of food options on site, but prices add up, queues can be long and food stalls may be far from your shift location.
Highly recommended:
👉 Bring your own food and snacks
👉 Pack a lunchbox for your shifts — you only get a 30-minute break, and you might not have time to find food
👉 Use your food vouchers outside of shift time, when you can actually enjoy them!
Stay on Schedule
Check your shift schedule before each day.
Be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before your shift starts.
Being on time keeps the team running smoothly — and it’s part of being a great volunteer.
